At La Palma Blue Experience, our commitment is clear: we want to offer a legendary night with Juanes and Oscar D’León without compromising the future of the “Beautiful Island.” Sustainability isn’t a trend; it’s the foundation of our identity #BlueHeartbeat.
We know that an event of this magnitude has an impact. That’s why we’ve developed a “Zero Footprint in December” plan to minimize our waste and consumption. This plan works, but it requires your active participation.
Single-use plastic is the number one enemy of our oceans. Therefore, the festival’s policy is strict and simple:
Goodbye to Plastic: At La Palma Blue Experience, you won’t find single-use plastic cups, plates, or cutlery at the bars or food stations. Instead, we’ll have the bluest reusable cups around and compostable cutlery, napkins, and containers.
- Your Role: Use your glass throughout the night and make sure it doesn’t end up on the floor.
Our waste management goes beyond the beer glass. We focus on reducing volume and ensuring that everything generated has a proper destination. There will be clear and visible recycling points throughout the venue. These points will be signposted so you can correctly separate organic waste, packaging, and cardboard. Remember: If you have any questions about where to dispose of something, please ask our sustainability staff.
We prioritize local cuisine and locally sourced products. This not only supports the economy of La Palma, but also reduces the carbon footprint associated with food transportation.
Come dance, sing, and create an epic night with Juanes and Oscar D’León. But come with a conscience. By choosing La Palma Blue Experience, you’re choosing a festival that takes care of its home.
Help us leave a Zero Footprint in Breña Alta and keep the #BlueHeartbeat strong!
